Re-arranged dining room

Of course, acres of room I haven't shown.

I've come up with the idea of putting the long bench by the window, and I've reduced the enormous extending table to its smallest dimensions.

Why? Well, my dogs leap up onto the wide windowsill, and bark at all and sundry. Making the windows all mucky, to boot.

Is this a solution?
