Ur Vagazin, Echoppe

Ur Vagazin, Echoppe, originally uploaded by Rhian vK.

How odd!
The Breton name is French, and the French name is English.
Built in the 16th century, the wide stone ledge under the ground-floor
window is designed to support wooden shutters, which, when lowered and extended
outwards, served as a support for the merchandise on sale.
