Destruction!

I knew I should never have planted it, though the leaves of the pampas were very graceful, and provided a useful screen ... in the early days.

Now I'm trying to remove it.

I've cut it down, set it on fire, and now sheared it with the hedge trimmer.

Oh yes, and I've doused it with bleach.

One day I might have the energy to dig out the roots.
