I should never have planted pampas grass!

I should never have planted pampas grass!, originally uploaded by Rhian vK.

Because it just spreads and spreads. I could use the space much more
productively.
I've hacked it down, set fire to it, but I know it will just come back with
a vengeance.
What I need to do is dig out the roots.
It could take me all year!
