He offered me a beer, but it was a little too early for me.

Of course, we were all pretty sure that Wales would be the Six Nations
champions, but we didn't know then that they would win the GRAND SLAM!!!

So they won the Triple Crown, having beaten the 'home' teams: Scotland,
Ireland and England.

Then they won the Grand Slam, by winning all their matches, against France
and Italy as well as the home teams.

Da iawn ichi, bechgyn!!
