Eglise de St Julien, Plussulien

Eglise St Julien, Plussulien, originally uploaded by Rhian vK.

Both Breton and Welsh speakers will know that Plussulien means 'the parish of St Sulien'.
In Welsh, 'plwyf' means 'parish'. In Breton, many place names start with Plou, Plu and so on. That's why Bretons are sometimes referred to as 'les plucs'.
Santiau'r eglwys Corwen, Sir Ddinbych, Cymru yw Sant Mael a Sant Sulien.
Hefyd mae Ffynnon Sulien yn yr un dref.
