Pour remercier le père le Strat de ces 'treize années sans ombrage' le maire de Guern, Yves Perez, l'a fait 'citoyenne d'honneur de la commune'.
Le successeur du père Louis le Strat sera le père Joël Lomenec'h qui arrive de Noyal-Pontivy. La passation aura lieu ce samedi à 18h en l'église de Malguénac.

Joël Lomenec'h. How's that for a good Breton name? And of course priests here must be able to speak Breton. The congregations tend to be ageing, Breton is the mother-tongue of most older Bretons (though of course younger ones as well in some areas) and Breton masses from time to time are appreciated.
