Plenty of prints to choose from at Pont Aven

What else would you expect at Pont Aven?

It's famous because Gauguin spent time there before he went off to the

South Seas.

But more interesting, perhaps, is to realise that there was a lively

artists' colony at Pont Aven for many years.

Nowadays there's an art gallery or shop selling prints on every street

corner, as it were.

But the town is certainly worth a visit.

You'll learn more about the artists who worked there if you visit La Musee

des Beaux Arts.
